The City of Burbank along with the “Complete Count Committee” is working to ensure a complete count! Cynthia Wagner Public Relations is focusing on the Burbank Census website www.burbankcensus.com. CWPR is also working on the Social Internet Marketing for the duration of this campaign.

BURBANK, Calif. (January 13, 2010) – The City of Burbank’s ‘Complete Count Committee’ is gearing up for the 2010 Census. Beginning in mid-March, every address in the United States will receive a quick and simple 10-question Census form to be filled out. The Census Bureau’s Burbank office will have its grand opening on Wednesday, January 20th and Burbank’s Complete Count Committee is working to make sure that every resident is counted.

Volunteers are needed to make this happen. Those interested in being part of a Speakers’ Bureau to learn more about the census can attend a training session at the Community Services Building, 150 N. Third St. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on one of the following dates: Tuesday, January 26; Thursday, February 11; or Monday, March 8.

The Committee has planned several events between now and National Census Day. Informational Census Events are planned for 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Community Services Building, 150 N. Third Street. Those dates are Saturday, January 30; Saturday, February 27; Thursday, March 11; and Thursday, April 1.
